| Dislocation |
| A dislocation is when a bone moves out of position. Often a dislocation will accompany a fracture, but it is possible for a bone to become dislocated when thereis no break. Never try to get the bone nack into place yourself. What you feel on the outside may not be the full extent of the inury, and you will probably make it worse, perhaps even causing permanent damage. The signs of a dislocation are the same as simple fracture, and so is your course of action. (See: Broken Bones). |
