Why we sing

We sing because of what has been done for us. Because "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us". We have been given much. Our God has come to earth and taken away our sins by his own suffering and death. What can we do but sing?

While singing is enjoyable, healthy and uplifting in itself, our main purpose in singing is to remind ourselves and those who hear us of the things God has done for us and the promises He has made. The purpose of the Calgary Homeschool Choir is to propagate the skills needed to sing well - as befits songs of the glory of God.
