GENERAL INFORMATION

Each class session will last one hour, meeting weekly for 4 weeks.  Classes will be held at the Claytons' home at 245 Bridleridge Road in Lexington (create a map here).  Karen Clayton, certified in NC and SC, will be teaching all classes.  Her enthusiasm and experience as an educator encourage children to enjoy what they are learning!

REGISTRATION FEE: There is a one-time $10 registration fee per family (NOT per child).

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM NUMBERS:  Each class has a minimum and maximum number set.  Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis (via email or postal mail).  If a class reaches capacity, you will receive a call from Debi or Karen requesting payment to reserve your child's spot in the class.  If the minimum isn't met and a class is cancelled, one of us will call you to see if you can switch classes or rally your friends together to come sign up for the class with you! =)  If switching isn't an option, we'll cancel your registration and hope you can sign up with us on our next set of classes.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:  The cost for each 4-week class is $20 plus any materials fees for your particular class.  To include your child in one of these exciting classes, send a letter with

Your Child's Name

Age

to either waunatonga@aol.com or

Debi Clayton

245 Bridleridge Road

Lexington, SC  29073

You will receive a confirmation call or email with a welcome note and total amount due.  Payment is due the first day of class.

CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE:  Children should arrive 5 minutes early.  Parents and quiet, nursing infants are welcome to stay during class.  Students are expected to be respectful, cooperative and obedient.  We are not anticipating any problems from your child, but if it occurs, we will bring it to your attention so you can discuss it with him or her and remedy it before the next class meeting.  Children will be dismissed on the hour, so please be waiting for your child 5 minutes before class ends if you choose not to stay.  If another mom will be picking up your child, send a slip saying with whom they will be riding home.

BABYSITTING: Childcare will not be available nor will younger siblings be able to stay in the classes because of space restrictions, but we would like to suggest some activities to help the hour pass quickly for your other children.  Bridleridge Road forms a one-mile circle which is ideal for getting in that exercise on your to-do list!  Just bring a stroller for toddlers and enjoy the walk.  There is also a pond where you can bring bread to feed the ducks!  Other businesses within 15 minutes are Food Lion, Dollar General, Post Office, McDonald's, Piggly Wiggly, CVS, BB&T, and several other small businesses for you to take care of errands.

QUESTIONS:  Feel free to call or email Karen (957-9647) or Debi (356-5014) with any questions.
