A Christmas Thank-You Letter

The following letter was written to John Putnam Loomis (Uncle Jack), pictured at the right, above.  He's shown with his brother Charles Dana Loomis (Grandpa), and his cousin Sally Loomis.  The letter was written to him by his Uncle, Israel Putnam Dana, pictured at the left above.  "Uncle Put" was brother to Sara and Abby Dana.  He had no children, and never married.
