World Naming Guide

Always have trouble finding a name for your world? Here's a guide to help you out. Firstly, are you planning to breed a certain type of creature? This information could come in handy when naming your world. For instance, a world full of Grendels could be named partly after a distinguishing feature of the Grendel's appearance, such as the spikes. Secondly, are these creatures going to be of a certain breed, such as Peace Grendel? If so, you could add a peaceful word into your world name. Thirdly, are the creatures going to be a certain colour- red, for instance? You can use the name of a red or pink object in your world. (If you are planning to breed red creatures of all types, you could name the world Strawberry Fields Forever, or something else relating to the colour red and/or pink.) Now, put these words together in a way that makes sense, adding world suffixes (-ana, -us, -topia, etc.) where needed. You have your world name! (Tranquil Rose Scaletopia).

If you are planning a generic world where creatures of all types will roam, try naming the world after a city. If you don't like that idea, you could base the world name on one of your interests. If you enjoy playing sport, you could name the world Albia Stadium. If you are a fan of science fiction, you could name the world after a planet in a science-fiction novel. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you could name the world Hogwarts or Hogsmeade.
If you are still stuck for ideas try leafing through the dictionary, choosing a random world, and adding a world suffix to the end. Or try some of these names- (Sorry if they scare you!)
