Hi, my name is Heidi and along with
my sister,
I
have been running Honey Bear Child Care since Septemter 1994.
Here is a little bit
about me.
Education:
I have graduated from Onondaga Community College and the State University at Buffalo. I am currently back in school.
My goal is to earn my Masters in Education and then to teach elementary school.
**Update**
I graduated from Syracuse University in August of 2006
with my Masters Degree in Childhood Education!
I write a column on scrapbooking in the Syracuse Post Standard/Stars magazine. It comes out every other Sunday in the hobby section.
I have 1 cat and one
puppy.

My family are the most important people in my life.
My interests
Some of my favorite things to do are scrapbooking, drawing, write letters, travel, read, bake and do crafts. Creating websites is also one of my favotite things to do.
I write my websites in notebook and also draw my own web graphics.
My reasons for opening Honey Bear Child Care
were to allow
parents of preschoolers the peace of mind for when they had to
leave their
children and go to work each day. I want to offer a safe, loving
and homey
environment for children to grow, learn and explore their world
around them.
Honey Bear is an alternative to large, impersonal, sterile child
care centers
where parents drop their children off to one worker and pick
them up from a
different one. Each and every day we strive to create an
atomosphere for small
minds to learn all they can, feel safe and secure and to have a
happy
childhood.
