WALK FORWARD 2, R KICK BALL CHANGE, R HEEL GRIND TURNING 1/4 R, R BACK COASTER STEP
1-2 Step R foot forward, step L foot forward
3&4 Kick R foot forward, step R foot together, step L foot together
5-6 Touch R heel to right starting to turn toes 1/4 right, complete 1/4 right turn with weight on L foot
7&8 Step R foot back, step L foot together, step R foot forward

PHRASING NOTE:

The main dance is 68 counts. This will always be danced facing the front wall (the "good" wall). The fun begins on the back wall (the "bad" wall) where you will never dance 68 counts. But it's easy, so here goes: The first time you face the back wall, dance only through count 32 (the Monterey turn), then do the "Downtown 8" as follows:

1/2 R MONTEREY TURN, R JAZZ BOX
1-2 Touch R toes to right side, step R foot together while turning 1/2 right on L foot
3-4 Touch L toes to left side, step L foot together
5-6 Cross-step R foot over L foot, step L foot back
7-8 Step R foot to right side, step L foot together
You will be facing the front wall. Now start the dance again from the beginning.

The rest of the time when you face the back wall, dance just 64 counts, omitting the last 4 counts (the two rock steps), then begin the dance again from the start. The pattern will look like this: 68, 32+Downtown 8, 68, 64, 68, 64, 18 (the end). For a big finish, turn 1/4 R on count 17 as you rock back (to face front wall).
