HOPE of Texoma ensures all animals are brought to health, vaccinated, health checked, spayed/neutered and monitored for behaviors and personalities with people, other animals and situations to the best of our ability. The Pre-Adoption form is another avenue that assists HOPE of Texoma in making perfect matches between animals and prospective adopters by knowing more about you/or your family, and what you are seeking in a pet. The minimal 24 hour waiting period allows volunteers time to go through this application and gives families time to prepare for the new arrival. We appreciate the patience and time of our potential adopters and are confident that you will appreciate and share our commitment in making loving, responsible and lasting relations between animal and their new familiies. I understand that giving incorrect answers or misleading HOPE of Texoma in anyway, can and will result in my inability to ever adopt an animal in their care. I understand that if this application were approved and I adopt from HOPE of Texoma that I will be asked to pay the adoption donation, and if adopting out of state pay for shipping the pet to it's new home. The donation fee is not paying for the animal but only assists HOPE of Texoma in meeting some of the cost and care the animal has received while in HOPE of Texoma's care. I understand and agree that if I make a deposits on an animal and my application were not approved, it is my responsibility to contact HOPE of Texoma within 48 business hours of completing this form, and in this situation, any deposits made to HOPE of Texoma, INC., will be refunded to me. If I do not contact HOPE of Texoma, INC., within 48 business hours and my application is denied, all monies will be considered donation, and while tax deductible , will not be refunded.
