John Wesley is reported to have said the two most important books to him were his Bible and his hymnal. For many Christians throughout the ages, singing has been an integral part of their lives and worship. Our goal is for all of us to be able to read the complete text of each song we feature here or sing it yourself to the Lord. You may already know some (or part) of the songs we feature here, or you may have never heard of it. Learn and sing the songs in praise to the Lord Who has given us the gift of music.
We are dedicated to promote Christian music that glorifies the Lord.

Whether in oral tradition or in written form, wherever the church has gathered there has been a song because worship is essential to the people of God.
Song, in a way that no other medium of expression does, has a way of organizing our random thoughts and longings. So in a way, a songbook functions as a primer for us -- pointing us to the truth of Scripture, giving us fresh expressions of prayer, praise and adoration, teaching us again and again the language of response. A songbook is a collection of the irrepressible responses of the people of God to His acts of redemption. This site is not a songbook, but a collection of selected songs of worship and praise from a hymnal/songbook, so, in one way or another, you will feel the presence of God and get you in the mode of worship through this medium (internet).
Musical styles may come and go but the response of worship in song will remain as essential language for people of faith. Our interacting with God in recognition of who He is and His work will never end.
