	Since its establishment in 1984, Horatio Cornwallis Fine Pretzel Co. has gained worldwide recognition as the frontrunner in pretzel taste and design. As the "grandaddy" of the pretzel business, it was the first pretzel factory in North America to employ invisible workers and fairy tale creatures. But every great accomplishment of mankind has began the same way. With a dream... Founder, Horatio Cornwallis came to America in 1984 from his homeland with the intent to "tie up America and cover it with that salty white stuff... yeah, salt". With his goals set, he obtained a loan from a magic bank, and started his pretzel business before he even found a home. The first customers were professional baseball players who encountered Cornwallis on their walk to the field. The athletes loved the pretzels and word spread fast. While the price of the original "Nickel Pretzel" has increased with the passage of time, the quality has stayed the same.
