Roger May trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has recently appeared in Twelfth Night, playing Sir Andrew Aguecheek, for the Nuffield Theatre. His other Shakespeare credits include the roles of Decius Brutus in Julius Caesar and Catesby in Richard III (Royal Shakespeare Company), Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice (Harrogate), Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew (Exeter) and Verges in Much Ado About Nothing (Southampton). Other roles include Eric in And A Nightingale Sang, Angelo in The Boys from Syracuse, Azolan in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and Nick Beckett in What the Butler Saw. His film and television credits include An Ideal Husband (Scorpio Films), Peak Practice, Every Woman Knows a Secret, Mosley, Hornblower, and Out of Darkness. Mr. May was a member of the BBC Radio Repertory Company in 1995-96, performing in Monsignor Quixote, Gawain and the Green Knight, Henry IV Parts I & II, The Tempest, Death of a Salesman, and Double Indemnity, among others. In his first tour with Actors From The London Stage, Spring 2000's All's Well That Ends Well, he played Bertram, Lavatch, and Mariana.
