1. you should not expect fairness. A slave's life on Gor is one of both pleasure and pain.
2. you should strive at all times to be pleasing, this reflects well on one's Owner and the Homestone
3. you should constantly seek self-improvement. There is always more to be learned or improved upon.
4. If you are in white kirtles, you are restricted to serving Members of the Homestone. Once you have mastered basic techniques, you will be given permission by your trainer, or the MOSP to serve visiting Free.
5. NEVER argue with a Freeperson. They are always right. However in any disagreement, you have the last words "Yes, Master/Mistress."
6. you are required to karta and beg entrance. Once entrance is granted, there is no need to ask permission to speak or greet. If you are not answered immediately, you must ask three times, then it is assumed that permission is granted, and you may enter and speak and greet freely. you are also required to beg leave from a FP before exiting the Tavern. (see the "rule of three" in the footnotes)
7. If you leave to go afk, brb, or are dropped by isp, you need not beg permission to return, when returning within a 5 minute period, simply state to the room that you have returned.
8. Macro usage is prohibited to slaves except when used in a dance to maintain flow and quality.
9. Greet all Free Persons individually. If unable to determine the gender, use Master. If incorrect in your assumption, you will be corrected, at which time an apology should be given.
10. If more than 5 Free Persons are in the room, a mass greeting is acceptable.
11. While in a service to a Free, your attention should be soley on the one you are serving. speaking during a serve, unless directed towards the One you are serving is prohibited.
12. If asked to perform a service you are unsure of, you may speak with any more experienced slave, or the MOSP, in a private message, for advice and guidance.
13. Any slave in a personal collar, must abide by their owners rules first and formost. If a Tavern rule conflicts, your Owners rule overrides.
14. Serving the Free is your number one priority. Do NOT wait to be asked to serve, offer service upon entering, and again whenever a Freeperson enters the tavern. Even slaves in personal kolars are required to offer service, unless restricted to by Owner, when said Owner is not present
15. you are
required to use third person speech. you are not allowed to use the words
"I", "me", or "mine". use terms such as "this one" or "this slave",
etc.
16. you have already been collared, either to the Tavern, or to a Free Person of the Tavern. if in a Tavern collar, and you wish to beg a personal collar, think carefully before doing so. after careful thought, if you decide to beg a personal collar, you must first beg release from the Tavern collar. Only a HC Member has the right to remove a Tavern collar, and then only with the approval of the Tavern Owner, Myst. Keep in mind, that any FP has the option to slay a slave that has begged a collar, if they choose not to collar them.
17. you may beg leave for real time issues, during a serve, briefly explaining the situation. If it is an emergency, when not in service, simply type rti and explain upon return. If it appears habitual or done in anger or frustration permission may be denied.
18. All slaves of the Tavern, or Tavern Members, are required to report into the Tavern when online. If the Tavern is empty, then you may leave to travel, if permitted, or busy yourself while waiting. Please do not enter the room, and multitask simply because its empty, unless you have a text to speach client enabled so that you can hear when a person enters the room.
19 you should not entice Free Persons unless you intend to follow through, and are not restricted from such actions. you know your restrictions, and must adhere to them. the fg or sg will inform you of any restriction changes as you progress in your training.
GENERAL NOTES:
HBT utilizes a 10 minute
rule....if you will be afk for longer than ten minutes, beg leave, otherwise
you will be booted from the room.
The rule of three is as
follows: when begging entrance, offering service, begging to go afk,
or begging to leave, a slave must post the request three times before continuing,
if not acknowledged by a Free Person. the rule of three does not
apply during offers of drink or food. If you are required to transport
an item, other than food or drink, to a Free Person, the rule of three
does apply. post your offer three times, if not acknowledged, simply
place the item within the Free Persons reach, and continue on to other
things.
General rules are standard
in all Homes. karta, beg entrance, and request permission to speak.
after entering a Home ask permission from the Home to go and visit their
website. Breaking any rules, or restrictions, either at HBT, or while
visiting, will result in appropriate punishment by your Owner, the MOSP,
the first girl, or the second girl. While you are not required to
do so, it is advisable to learn the CoC homes, and restrict your travel
to said Homes as these are the Standards followed by HBT. you may
travel to homes outside of the CoC, but, keep in mind that they do not
use Our rules and standards, and as such, you are subject to rules that
may or may not be agreeable to the Owner of HBT.
