HORNSEA POTTERY | |||||||||||||||
Hornsea Pottery is well known for its pioneering design and production techniques. It produced items at opposing ends of the design spectrum and appeals to a wide variety of tastes. Contemporary style tableware, accessories, figures and decorative objects were all produced by the Pottery during the fifty years of its existence. It has usually been at the forefront of modern design through its willingness to invest in good design. There are many collectors of their striking contemporary designs such as the Animal and African figures by Marion Campbell; Elegance, Home Decor, Muramics and Studiocraft by John Clappison and Concept and Cirrus by Martin Hunt. |
