Evil Dead is simply amazing. Sam Raimi shows his excelent camera abilities here. The actors are all decent. The sceipt is solid, and the tone is dark. the movie is insane the plot is simple, a group of friends go up to a cabin yaw-da-yaw-da-yaw-da they start getting possesed. So what makes this so good? i'll tell you its the insane violence. The master full score, the way the camera moves, this is like watching horrors esence it's self slashing across the screen. Not since Night of the living dead has somthing so ground breaking come out. Evil Dead also borrows from other classics such as, the slumber party massicare, and the texas chainsaw massicare. But it still works and comes off origonal. This also has the greatest ending in horror movie history. Groovy 10/10
