These photos were taken on the Deerhaven trails, a 6 km network that runs through our 72 acres. This was a 2 year labor of love. The perimeter trail was bushhogged by friends, and we spend the next year filling ruts with sand and trimming to ground level or below what was left by the bushhog. The next year a figure 8 trail was hogged out in the center of the property, and another year was spent filling and trimming down. These photos show some of the results. You can also see the pond behind the barn, at the end of one of the trails and a great way for the dogs to cool off after a summer run.
