English Shepherds Herding

In the following series of short video clips an English Shepherd, Susie Q is introduced to herding cattle on a dairy. The resident dogs Shooter and Meg are showing her the ropes.

Susie Q and Meg are the "heeler" type of herding dog, whereas Shooter is the classic farmcollie header type, and also doubles as the farm guardian.

Shooter is a black dog with one white leg, and is usually the closest dog to the cows. Meg has a white nose and full apron. Susie has two white legs.
