To Former Horton Students
In an effort to contact former Horton students and inform them of the reunion being held next summer to celebrate 50 years of Horton we are asking if you would read the info below and pass the information along to other Horton students and friends of Horton. We are hoping that our e-mailing tree/modified chain letter approach using Susan Murray’s Horton Alumni Website info will quickly spread the word to others. We are planning for a large turnout for the reunion and with your support we feel that we can contact many of our former students by this method.

Remember the good old days at Horton District High School and the new Horton?
It will soon be 50 years since HDHS opened its doors! The new Horton will be TEN!
It is time to Celebrate those Fabulous & Fun years with
RE-ACQUAINTANCE, REMINISCENCE & REVELRY!
A committee is already at work planning the 50 years of Horton reunion of all HDHS – HHS students, staff and friends. The event is scheduled for August 13 – 16, 2009. A website has been developed at http://www.horton.ednet.ns.ca/staff/sheppard/reunion/ to keep you up-to-date with reunion information. Activities include golf social, pub crawl, variety show, barbeque, reunion of special groups, class meetings, brunch, banquet and dance with registration beginning in January 2009.
