PROGRAMME NATURE AND HISTORY
Hostal Restaurante " El Paso " offers you in colaboration with Hotel " El Zodiaco " and Motel " Salvador ", the possibility of spend a 3-day travel in the province of Jaén, spending the nights at the mentioned before hotels with " Nature and History " Programme.
The unbeatable situation of Bailén in the geograophy of Andalucía and Spain, the joining point of National Road IV and National 323 and 322 makes Hostal Restaurante " El Paso " the possibility of offering a stay in the hotels,spending a day in Cazorla, Úbeda, Baeza and optionally one more in Baños de la Encina, every town in our province and watching our nature and history.
Detailed Programme:
1st Day:
Dinner and night.
2nd Day:
Parque Natural de la Sierra de Cazorla.
Breakfast at 7:30. Travel to Cazorla and entering to the Guadalquivir Valley. Visits to Torre del Vinagre, showing the diversity of fauna. A visit to river Borosa, in the mouth of river Gualquivir. The travel continues from the Valley to Tranco de Beas de Segura. We will have a picnic in the Tranco, with green zones or restaurants to eat and rest.Arriving at Hotel at 18 - 18:30. Dinner and night.
3rd Day:
Úbeda and Baeza.
Breakfast at 8:30. Arring to Baeza at 9. In Baeza we will visit Palaces and Monuments ( free entrance ). After that, at 5 Kms we will visit Úbeda. Arriving to the hotel at 15 - 15:30. Free afternoon to rest or to visit the city of Bailén, souvenirs, shopping ... Dinner and night.
4th Day ( OPTIONAL )
Baños de la Encina. Fiesta Campera.
Departure from the hotel to the town, at 7 Kms.Visit of the town, with a castle built by Al - Hakam II from 968. After the town visit, we will go to the country state where we will have a typical Fiesta Campera. We will have wine, beer, music, food ( typical dishes from the area and a yearling calf will be will be released to simulate a bullfighting. Back to the hotel after the party, dinner and night.
