Chapter Two
Trisha's point of view

Trisha got ready the next day and made herself look extra special, after all, the Boys were gonna be in town (Florida) performing for the next few days, so she wanted to look good for AJ. She sighed as she sat down infront of her vanity, wondering why in the world was she starting to like her best friend.

She knew he was all wrong for her, after all, she was still a virgin while he screwed girls all the time. But then when he was around her, there was like a whole new side to AJ that no one else ever saw. He was sweet, gentle and loving. And not to mention hilarious. But she knew she had to keep in mind why she never wanted to tell AJ, first of all, it would screw up their friendship, and also, well he was AJ. The guy who was up for one night stands and wouldn't be able to last in a relationship.

'Maybe he'll change,' she thought to herself. But she knew in the back of her mind, that he never would.

"Trisha!" she heard her mother call from downstairs. "AJ's here!"

"Okay okay, I'm coming!" she yelled back. Taking one more glance in the mirror, she ran downstairs, and was soon greated by the arms of AJ.

"Hey babe! It's good to see you, it's been awhile," he said as he pulled away.

"I've missed you too," she said, shocked at how good he looked. His hair was back to it's normal brown color for once, shave neatly at the sides with short spikes on the top. She wondered if there were any new tattoos under his attire, but her eyes quickly stopped on his face, when she noticed the piercing under his bottom lip.

"When did you get that?" she asked, not shocked at all that he was adding more piercings to that wild body of his.

"Oh, the other night when we stopped in a city, me and and Nick got bored, so I dragged him to the parlor. Do you like it?" he asked, rubbing his chin slightly with a smug smile.

"Of course, it's hot!" she replied. 'Just like the rest of you' she thought to herself, barely able to distract herself from taking her eyes off of him for a moment.

"Well are you up for a day with me? If you can take it that is," he said with a killer smile.

"Hmm... I guess," she said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the house, towards his car.

"So where are we going?" she asked as the two pulled out of the driveway.

"Now that's a surprise..."

Later that evening...

"Thanks AJ, I had a lot of fun," Trisha said as the two walked up to her porch.

The two had spent the entire day at Walt Disney, a place they went together at least every year. But it had been awhile since they last went, and he knew it was the perfect way to spend the day with his best friend.

"Yeah me to, It had been so long since we got to do something like that."

Trisha looked at AJ, and smiled. At that moment she was wishing he'd pull her into his arms and kiss her, like no other kiss she had ever had.

"Well I'll call you tomorrow," he said, as he reached over and pulled her into a tight hug. He then kissed her on the cheek.

"Goodnight," she said as she watched him walk down the path towards his car.

"Sweet dreams," he called back.

She sat there and watched as his car pulled away, feeling as though she was going to explode. Her feelings for AJ just flew to another level, but then she brought herself back down to earth knowing that the feelings weren't mutual.

She sighed as she walked inside and headed towards her room. Why did he have to have the lifestyle that he has? Why couldn't he just be a normal guy, instead of a Backstreet Boy? Most of all, why couldn't he like her back? But she knew the answers. AJ was the type of guy he enjoyed a good screw then went onto the next victim, with no feelings attached. She didn't understand why, but that was just the way he was, no matter how much she wanted him to change.

She laid on her bed, remembering old times they had shared. They had been best friends for nearly their whole lives, growing up next to each other, that is until he became a Backstreet Boy.

She remember the day they had met, it was when she moved in. She was playing in the yard when she lost her brand new bracelet. She sat on the curb crying until a little boy on a bicycle came riding up, and he offered to help her find it. The two were inseperable from that day on.

She then remembered the day they shared their first kiss. They were both twelve, and that was the time that everyone was dating someone. AJ had thought they would be cool if they kissed before everyone else, so one day while they were playing a game of kick ball in the park with everyone else, he ran up to her, kissed her on the lips, then watched as she smiled and ran off, embarrassed. It was the talk of the neighborhood for weeks. She laughed at the thought, and still couldn't believe it to that day sometimes.

Then her thoughts went back to the day he left to go with the Backstreet Boys. She had cried instantly when she found out, knowing that she'd barely get to see her best friend anymore. They were around sixteen, and at the time she had the biggest crush on him, but he never knew. He had promised that he'd call and write her everyday, and to this day, that promise still stands.

She drifted off to sleep with thoughts of AJ on her mind, wishing that he'd be the loving caring guy that she knew was deep down inside of him.
