| How They Met Sydney met Vaughn in "Pilot" in the CIA Headquarters down in Los Angeles after Sydney escapes narrowly in Taipei and realizing that she was not working for the real CIA, but rather the enemy. Vaughn is the man that gave the higher-ups her report on SD-6 and later becomes her handler. Their relationship, however, starts on a bit differently; with their priorities and who's in charge bumping. |

| The Push Factors Sydney and Vaughn obviously have some UST and something strong between them. Unfortunately, there are forces against them. One, most obvious, would be the fact that Sydney and Vaughn cannot so much as look at each other when they're in public because she works for SD-6. Major bummer. Other push factors include other men from Sydney's love life that occassionally pops in the mess things up (Noah, Will...heheheh). And of course, there's the knowledge that Sydney's mom had eliminated Vaughn's dad years ago. Then, of course, there's the CIA people that are meddling around now and then (Haladki, Devlin, Weiss). Who knows what this seaosn may present... |

| Down the Road It's obvious that these two will need to overcome over half of their obstacles before they can actually start something, which would majorly include Sydney and her allies bringing down SD-6. Until then, the only thing they can do is support each other in their fight and stay focused, which they are doing a pretty good job of. Do they even have a chance? I definitely say so! Sure, the odds are against them, but who knows? The story's just beginning.... |

| Why "Guardian Angels"? The reason we call this relationship "Guardian Angel" is from Episode 3, Season 1 when Sydney called Vaughn her "Guardian Angel" because he was at the other end of her line. It's cute, and it's pretty suitable for these two, so that's why the name stuff. ^_^ |
