Writin'

8 Oct 2004:
Not a lot I'm willing to post; I've entered a kind of paranoid, what's-the-point phase on posting writing openly on the 'net. However...you are more than welcome to check out the story I'm working on now, which can be found on my writing journal. The first two excerpts are open entries; all subsequent entries will prolly be "friends only"; which means you'll have to have an LJ account and friend the journal, and chances are you aren't needing to read it that bad. If it is your particular cup of tea, and you want to read more, drop me a comment on the journal.

I'm also fixing to put up some individual essays which have been out there a while, which may mean deja vu all over again for some of y'all. And -- what the heck -- a few new things, too.
And here is the infamous genealogy chart, which is a work in progress being fiddled with for my family. I for some reason thought it would be interesting to research the family that hadn't been charted, never suspecting that genealogical research would be addictive and fascinating. The Payne line has been exhaustively researched already, so the people I'm after are really the Linker, Pittman, and Starliper lines. This is here largely for my family, and, as I've said, it's not even vaguely complete. But if you're doing research, by all means, feel free to borrow my listings or download the GEDCOM. It's up for people to use. Any info or corrections, please e-mail me.

Get hot, or go home... You can click on the picture to go home, too. Ah, if only life were that simple.
