Magic Red 5
The Magic Red 5 has two special attributes. First, given that the player has a legal move, it may be played on ANY other card. Second, it has the effect of completely nullifying the Hot Death card. Poof. Like nothing ever happened. After the Magic Red 5 has been played, suit changes to red, regardless of previous choices.

For example, Player1 plays a yellow 6. Player2, having peeked at Player3's hand (*Gasp!*), knows that Player3 has only one yellow card left before he can go out. Player2 has plenty of 6s and yellows, but he chooses to thwart Player3 by playing the Magic Red 5, changing the suit to red. Unfortunately, Player3 had a yellow 5.

Another example, Player1 plays the Hot Death wild. Player2 plays the Magic Red 5. Player3 discards a red 7. Player1 says: "D'oh!!"

At the end of the hand, the Magic Red 5 subtracts 5 points from the player's score (thus the magic continues..wooo..).
