My '56 buick
I made my own front lowering kit out of 1 inch square steel, placed between the lower control arm and the spring pocket.
I drilled holes through the steel to line up with the original "rivet"holes and bolted it together with grade 8 bolts.
The result was a 2 inch drop
I frenched the headlights by welding studs to the fender so you can put the buckets in from the wheel well.I then sand blasted the headlight rims and DP90'd them. Since they are "potmetal" you can not weld them in place.I used duraglass and screwed them in the original location.
Another layer of duraglass on the fender and ring, then smooth it out.
