Let us give thanks this day and every day to all those brave men
and women who paid the ultimate price so we could be free.
Do not take freedom for granted and realize how easily it can be lost.
Come to Me

God saw you were getting tired,
and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered "Come to Me."

Although we love you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
With tearful eyes we watched you
As you quietly passed away.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
My Father,  Donald,  March 17, 1924 - March 12, 1999.
He served  in the US Army in the South Pacific 1941 - 1945.

He was a kind and gentle man and loved his country dearly.
We miss him very much.
