| Ok, this is a little something something about me. My name is Tammy Titipu aka "hotspice, which is what some of you die hard chatters know me by. There is really nothing all that significant about me or my life to impart on you poor souls who are reading this far right now. If you have read this far I might as well, tell you a little more about me. I'm from Papua New Guinea, if you don't know where that is shame on you, go brush up on your geography and then get back to me. PNG is an island just north of Australia and shares its borders with Indonesia. Did I say I was from PNG? ok then, just checking to see if you are still with me. I'm currently attending Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. If you are wondering how I got here in the first place, I'll tell you that I lost directions back to PNG so I'm stranded here. No really, I came to the great state of Texas when I was barely 15 and have been here from a little over 7 long years now. I will turn the big 23 on May 8th, 2002 ( yeah yeah , i know i'm getting old) and will graduate from LCU a week after I have my 23rd birthday. If I know you and you are reading this far, I expect a birthday present from you. If you can't work out when my graduation day is, it's the 15th. Hopefully complete my BA in Business Administraion with an emphasis on Marking and Advertising. Beats being an accountant, no offence to all you calculator munchers out there. What other useless information can I give you guys, oh yeah, I'm officially single. Ok, maybe you don't wanna hear about that. I just thought I'd throw it out there. Like many people from PNG, I have a pretty big family and extended family. My father Tim and my mother Rose are both from Southern Highlands Province in PNG. So I guess that makes me a southern highlander, but I don't usually consider myself one because I've lived in Oro Province (the Northen part of PNG) for the better part of my life. I have two brothers and two sisters who are scattered all over the place. My 20 yr old brother is in Gold Coast attending a private school there. My 17 year old sister is in Port Moresby attending Pom High School and my baby bro and sis are with my mom in Popondetta My dad is somewhere in Pom, doing something, I don't even know what so I'm not going to speculate. My Interests Oh boy, where should I start. I love music. I love listening to it, love singing and sometimes writing lyrics. But my favorite pastime is to sing and listen to music. I must toot my own horn and say that I sound pretty good too. There is something about music that just sooths the soul and melts every thing away. These are some of the music that are a must have in any good music collection : * Lauren Hill -- The Miseducation of Lauren Hill * Creed -- Human Clay * Celine -- Let's Talk About Love * Dido -- No Angel * Mary Mary -- Thankful * The Corrs -- Talk on Corners * Whitney Houston -- My Love is Your Love * And anything rock has to be included too. One of my other interest is anything that is blood pumping and adrenaline rushing. I'm talking about things that will make you scream and give you a natural high. Like skiing, snowboarding, roller coaster rides, free falling, bungie jumping. I tell you what, once you've tried doing anything of that nature, you will always be addicted to it and I'm speaking from experience. Skiing was extremely addictive, epecially when you are going at speeds of 30-40 miles an hour. You have to have balance and watch where you are going but most of all you have to be crazy enough to go so fast you feel the wind beating on your face and body. It's extremely exhilarating. You should try it out sometime. |
