Nothin' But Links Here
This page is devoted to some of my favorite sites on the Web that aren't
mentioned on any of my other pages. I thought
I'd share these with you, for what they're worth, in no particular order:
I've spent way too much time at The Simpsons
Archive, reading more than everything I want to know about the animated
television show. A remarkably comprehensive site. The episode-by-episiode guide alone is
quite impressive.
Check out The Internet Movie Database
for lots of information on films and television series-- including performers, directors, writers,
producers, set designers, special effects personnel, key grips, best boys.... (I think you
get the idea.)
At the P22 Type Foundry Web site, you can find
loads of cool fonts (available for purchasing), along with information about the history of
various types and symbols. "p.22.com" is very nicely designed, and hey-- these folks
are even local!
If you just can't get enough of the World Wide Web, then The
Internet Tourbus is probably for you. "Tourbus" is basically a site at which you can
subscribe to the authors' free e-mail newsletter consisting of info. on search engines, free stuff,
cool sites, hoaxes & urban legends, Internet tools & tips, and more.
I like to make periodic visits to the Web site of the Humane
Society of the United States for information and news concerning
the protection of our animal friends, including legislation
and action alerts.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
is an animal rights organization that tends to get a bad rap from some people, for being too "radical" --
but I agree with their general philosophy of showing respect and compassion for all beings.
