This is a site worth checking out. Discover information, employment
information, sexual harassment, age, and other equality and inequality
issues. Segments such as "Case Work and Remedies" include other peoples
opinions and solutions. The interactive game "Erasing the Hydra of Hate"
is a great way to test your awareness of hate in our lives and
community. Also available are products to order- most of which are free
of charge.

I have just finished the "Music Link" to my Home Page. If you like
music from the 40's on, I've scrounged the web and found a few tunes.
The following is a URL of the link and, you can 'click' on the type of music you like...... Sorry, there aren't any 'western' tuned. Matter
of fact, I could find very few of the "Old Time Blues"..... Never did
find St. Louis Woman, Sugar Blues, etc.
The 'Easy Listening" category is somewhere in between the old stuff and
the later stuff that I, in particular enjoy.
I do my 'nostalgia' musically!

As the World Wide Web spreads its spidery threads around our globe, the
sheer volume of information available is truly mind boggling. From solid
research to fluff, from major works to minutiae, it is all there. Remember
what a spork is? Yes, there is a spork home page! But finding the
information you want can be a daunting task. We now have a bevy of
powerful search engines, web directories, and more specific searching
tools. Even with all of that the results can be frustrating.
Here is another approach -- the web ring. You've probably encountered them
in your web surfing. They are simply groups of web pages relating to a
particular topic, and linked together in a ring. There is an icon on each
page identifying it as a member of a particular web ring, and the option is
presented to go to the next site in the ring, the previous site, or to be
taken to a site at random. A ring may be small, with a half-dozen members,
or large with hundreds of sites linked together.
Here is your starting point. The directory of web rings. There is a
simple menu of categories which will guide you to your topic of interest.
There is also a very simple search tool which is useful, but does not
handle multi-word searches well. This will get you on your way to
exploring the web in a new way.

For several years, I have looked for books by a certain obscure
writer. I just found five of them at the New York Public
Library. They have a wonderful search page. If the book you
want is in the collection, they will e-mail the information on
request. You can get the publisher, date, description, and
library call numbers. With this, you can probably find a copy
for sale somewhere. I'm so pleased!

A project to encompass approximately 240 tribal histories (from
contact to 1900) of Native Americans from the lower 48 states and
parts of Canada and Mexico. Currently over 40 histories have been
written. An excellent source of information on peoples from the
Abenaki to the Winnebago.
