I
am creating this page to share my
Experience,
Strength and Hope
with
others who have survived and those who
know
and love a survivor.
My name is
Dreama
H., and I
am a survivor of abuse. I was abused as a child as well as an
adult. I am 33, have been married three years to a wonderful man,
and have 3 of my 7 children living at my home.
I have
Survived
and am now learning to Live.
I decided to create this page because I wanted to share some of
the resources I have found that helped me along the way. The most
recent ones are here on the Internet. I will be putting up links
to the sites that I have found helpful and
informative.
Hope they
are as much help to you as they are to me.
I would first like to
say that I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD),
Depression and I am a Recovering Drug Addict. I'm sure there are
labels for other things that I do or don't do. The only use I have
found for these labels are to help other people relate to me and
not feel that they are alone.
The one thing that I am
sure of today is that my life was not what I wanted it to be and I
am taking the steps to change it today.
