Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Catherine Ann Lambe-Swanson, I am 39 years old, and hail originally from Tonawanda, NY. At the age of 2 months I was given up for adoption, and until 10May87, I had no idea who I was. On that day, I found my natural mother, and thus found "myself"! Thank You Mom! I have been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, on 04May1998. I inherited it from my natural father. I also have Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and Chronic Depression (aka Dysthymic Disorder). My youngest son Dennis has Tourette Syndrome His Tourette was also inherited, from myself and his father.
Currently, I make my home in Titusville, FL and am trying to get a new TSA chapter up and running here in Central FL, in addition to the international TouretteSupportGroup I run on the internet every Sunday night.
The reason I am doing this page is in the hopes that people will come and get information that the public and private sectors both are so reluctant to offer people with Tourette+.
