Whine less, breathe more

False Reality

I listen to the waves,
Crash against the rocks.
A soft breeze wafts by,
And carries my worries away.
The stars appear above,
Taking my gaze far beyond.
Trapped in a trance,
Life is suspended in time.
I have entered my own world,
Where contentment is eternal.
A star shoots past the night sky,
And I think of a desiring wish.
But I smile and watch it disappear,
Cause I am living in my dream.
A place with hopes, fantasies,
And wishes never let down.
The piercing silence awakens me,
My surrounding delusion shatters.
I face what I reside in.
I face the false reality.

Pain

Pain has infested itself within me.
It grows incessantly by the minute hand.
In my dreams I run and run,
Liberated from the pain that chases me.
I wake up to the harsh veracity,
Faced with aches of a thousand affairs.
I am shunned away from the gratification
That is distant from my own self reach.
Unproblematic prospects I wish to attain.
A future with hope, and most prominently,
Free of all pain.

Life is a journey not a destination
Use the past as a road map to find a better future
You have to go through bad things or you'll never know when something good comes along
If you can't be yourself it's because you dont know yourself
Destiny is not a matter of chance but of choice, choose it wisely
The happiest people dont have everything, they just make the best of what they do have
Credentials on a wall don't make you a decent person
It only takes an instant to do something that will give you heartache for life
Regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades and there had better be something to takes its place
Money is a lousy way of keeping score
True friendship grows over the longest distances, same goes for true love
Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have
Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them,
than how many birthdays you've celebrated
Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,
but we are responsible for who we become
You don't have to change friends if you understand that friends change
LOOKS FADE, MONEY CANT BUY EVERYTHING AND LOVE IS A BIGGER WORD THAN YOU THINK




When somebody dies, a cloud turns into
an angel, and flies up to tell God
to put another flower on a pillow.
A bird gives the message back to
the world, and sings a silent prayer
that makes the rain cry. People dis-
appear, but they never really go away.
The spirits up there put the sun to
bed, wake up grass, and spin the
earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you
can see them dancing in a cloud during
the day-time, when they're supposed
to be sleeping. They paint the rain-
bows and also the sunsets and make
waves splash and tug at the tide.
They toss shooting stars and listen to
wishes. And when they sing wind-
songs, they whisper to us, don't
miss me too much. The view is nice
and I'm doing just fine.




I Went To A Party, Mom
I went to a party, And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom So I had a sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself, The way you said I would,
That I didn't drink and drive, Though some friends said I should.
I made a healthy choice, And your advice to me was right,
The party finally ended, And the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my car, Sure to get home in one piece,
I never knew what was coming, Mom Something I expected least.
Now I'm lying on the pavement, And I hear the policeman say,
The kid that caused this wreck was drunk, Mom, his voice seems far away.
My own blood's all around me, As I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say, This girl is going to die.
I'm sure the guy had no idea, While he was flying high,
Because he chose to drink and drive, Now I would have to die.
So why do people do it, Mom, Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now the pain is cutting me, Like a thousand stabbing knives.
Tell sister not to be afraid, Mom Tell daddy to be brave
And when I go to heaven, Put 'Daddy's Girl' on my grave.
Someone should have taught him, That its wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had, I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom, I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments, And I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me Mom, As I lie here and die.
I wish that I could say I love you, Mom, So I love you and good-bye.
