Scholastic.com Presents Harry Potter The offical site for the books, this site is put out by the publisher. Has info about the books, trivia games, screensaver, and you can read a saple chapter. HP DEVO If you love Harry Potter virtual stickers, please visit the site. It's one of the best ones I've found. It's great! Many of the grahpics on my blog site are from this site. Check it out! Harry Potter Historical Connections and Legends This page is fascinating! I wonder how J.K. Rowlings knew all this stuff! Hogwarts Page An intresting fan site with a ton of content. You can sign up to be a character, but I'm not going to do that. I just like clicking around the grounds, and looking at stuff. The creator put a lot of work into this site. The Wizarding Network I liked this site because it has a large collection of book covers from other countires. I never realized that every country would have it's own cover! Some of the covers are so weird. I defintly think that us Americans got the best one! Make sure you look at the covers. Geocities This is the service I use to make my site and to host it. I've been using it for awhile, and I think it's the best service out there. It has a lot of options for beginners, intermediate, and HTML heads, and you can choose one of three differnt ways to create your site. It's very user friendly, and once you sign up for a Geocities account, you can pretty much use all of there other services. It also has a lot of space for free sites too. And it has a Member Page Directory, where is where I get most of my hits. Angelfire I've never used this service so I can't tell you if it is good or bad. I like to use there search engines, though. The thing that bugs me is all those Angelfire Page popups. I know Geocities has a lot but Angelfire has more. Expage.com I used to use this back when it was a lot better and let you use your own pixs, and didn't keep track of your email address and how many pages you made. You don't have to know any HTML. I's extremly simple, and great for people whose sites are mostly text, like blog sites. If you know HTML, you can customise (yeah, I know I spelled that wrong, oh well.) your page by pasting or typing in HTML codes into the body of your page. The only thing that sucks is you gotta use there graphics! Funky-Chickens This is THE place to learn HTML codes. Has your basic codes, and little extra special fun ones. Expage users should especally go here because they even tell you which ones are Expage compatible and which codes are not. Flaming Text.com Next time you visit someone's site and they have a cool animated text banner, or awesome word art, don't steal it! Use this site to make your own free Animated Word Art and Baners! Very Easy to do and lots of options! Bravenet.com Get free stuff for your site. Guestbooks, chat rooms counters, newsletters, greeting cards, and more! Most options are free. Space Explorers FAFSA on the Web most college scholarships require you to fill this out, you can apply on the web for free Fictionpress.net Have your orginal poems, and short stories published for free on the net and get reviews from other users.
