How it all began over 25 years ago....

Welcome to my bear page. My passion for hounds started with coon hunting at an early age but my fire got started running bears in Maine thanks to my close  friend and partner John Dykstra. Below you will see pictures of bears our hounds and I have harvested in years past. Also there are pictures of friends along with past clients when I was guiding with John in Maine. Also included are some new photo's from my recent trip to British Columbia, Idaho and Arizona

One of my pure enjoyments is helping out young hunters with there first harvest such as this one for Allen.

Just a few pictures of my trip to British Columbia with fellow houndsmen and friend Ron Bohrmen. Hounds used Nt.Ch.Groom Creek Bandit and Spanky along with Ch. Bohrmens Big Game Thunder, Hannah, Mandy and Dina.

We treed this Sow with 2 cubs in the fall of 2005 when we were with Randy Cooper of Treed Guide Service
