Groom Creek Smokey, a product of Groom Creek breeding. Treeing at the ripe old age of 41/2 months. Smokey was an every breath treehound with alot of heart and desire which is what caused his early death after being struck in the head by a lion. |
Welcome to our Puppy page. These are just a few of the many pups born here at Groom Creek Kennels. We are extremely pleased with the results of the off spring that our hounds have produced. None of this would have been possible if it were not for great breeders such as The Late, Great Lester Nance, Lee Logan, Brian Wessel, John Monroe, James Merchant, Rick Vestal, Don Holum and many others for which we are thankful. We have tried to continue on their same format by strickly line breeding, using only top quality "hunting" females and only bringing a superior outcross in from time to time. Unfortunately many in-experienced hunters get drawn into big stud ads when the female is 50% of ever cross and equally important. We believe in registering all our litters with United Kennel Club and support the DNA profiling program. We also hunting what we breed and breeding what we hunt, there are no brood bitches or penned up stud dogs in this kennel. Our pup prices start at $300.00. For $200.00 we will book you a pup. We have no super stake pups nor does that program fit into our kennel. |
Though all these pups are grown up and gone below are pictures of Ch. Groom Creek Magics litter born 7/01/00. This litter has such greats as Pac-Man, Tonys Wild Joey, Baumabachs Pulwood and Tiny Trouble all within the pups 3 generations. This cross proved to be an excellent one, not a bashful one in the group all playful and fighting over the coon hide. These hounds are mostly here on the west coast treeing everything from coons to cats to bears. |

Here at 10 weeks they are really showing natural ability and great conformation. All future pup bookings will require a $200.00 deposit. Next possible litter will be the spring of 2005 between Nt.Ch.Groom Creek Spanky and Groom Creek Jazz, so don't wait to long you may miss out... we also have plans to breed two other quality females. |

Groom Creek Jazz at 9 months old, Joey's half sister, daughter of Hardwood Hook. Jazz was hunted hard this winter, we like what we saw we do plan to take her back on her uncle "Spanky" this summer. |
Groom Creek Rambo is working out to be a fine young hound. His progression has slowed a bit since his first altercation with a lion this season. He is turning out to be just like his daddy Groom Creek Spanky. |
This is Groom Creek Stormin Norman. He is also a son out of a different cross on Spanky. We managed to acquire him back from the owner of the mother in this cross. He has progressed greatly on Big Game in the short time we have had him. |
