News Out of The Dog Pound:

Well Season one is going off better then some expected as our St. Johns Huskies are actually giving the top teams in the NFHL all they can handle. When GM Brandon was asked about this in was quoted saying, "This is only the begining of things to come for this youthful team." Anything that happens this year is just a consolation as this team is looking to the future. With recents trades to add more youth and scoring threat the Huskies brought highly talented LW Zubrus into town along with young center Jason Wiemer. When asked Zubrus said he was excited about playing here and can't wait to get out on the ice to contribute. But there is still a veteran flavor with Gary Roberts leading the way.

Statline of the Week:

Anson Carter is puttin on a clinic since being traded to the Huskies racking up 22 points in 22 gms to lead the way along with Viktor Kozlov who has 17 goals. These young talented skaters have nowhere but up to go.
