| As the week progressed, he found he could no longer keep this secret from Alex. He'd asked him to hold back for a moment when they were finished for the evening as the others found their ways home. "What's on your mind D? I'm supposed to pick up Marie in an hour,"AJ urged. "You remember Tuesday?" "All too well. It's a wonder Marie didn't leave my ass." "Is that all you're worried about? You devastated a woman that gave you her heart and you just abused it to all the lengths of the Earth. You don't even care about that do you?" "You're not gonna tell me you've been in love with Simone all this time are ya Howie?" "No, but I can tell you who is." "Excuse me?" he inquired; his disregard for the conversation suddenly turned to interest. "I don't think I was supposed to hear their conversation but I overheard Brian and Kevin talking and well.... you put two and two together." "Kevin?" "Yes Kevin. I didn't believe it myself but "But he just met her,"AJ interrupted. "Apparently not." "But how would they have met D? Most of his time's been tied up here. You know Mr. Perfection.
