Philippe Teuwen did a comprehensive HP48 Hardware Page contained detail information on Yorke CPU, Memory and much Hardware informations. He also did a simplied document on how to install 384k in your HP. HPUP384K.zip[126.5k] is the file you will need. You will need Microsoft Word and JPG viewer to open. Also in the text format HPUP384K.TXT[2.1k]. Document on how to take it to the maximum 4MB: HP48TO4M.TXT[3.0k] . Not Tested Yet

SRAM Chip Source

Marshell Industries Inc. (800) 261-9602 has a wide selection of SRAM ;Chips. I recommand the HM628128BLFP-8SL SMD by Hitachi or TC551001BFL-70L by Toshiba. Pick 100ns or faster chips will perform excellently in the G or GX. There is a Minimum of $50 per order limit. Marshall offers free sample to qualified companies / employees (Total Sample value must be less than $10).

    Ghost Script Utility

    This Utility is to help PC Users who does not own a PostScript CompatibalePrinter. The FTP sites for practically all platform: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/

    Mini instruction: Download all the zip file to a temporary directory on a local hard drive. Unzip the first file (gsview21.zip) in the same directory and run setup.exe after unzipping. Follow the directions. (The setup.exe is compressed in the gsview21.zip.)
