I have used white board and black paint in a modified Sumi-e style. The black and white contrast signifying conflicting interests/thoughts/feelings. I wanted something slightly abstract because I don't have a computer program to design on, and as my artwork leaves a lot to be desired, decided to go for free-styling with a brush and keeping it as simple as possible.

I have represented the spiritual, mystical force of the 7 by showing the heads of the beasts, but not the bodies, being able to beat physical and emotional trials and not give in.

The conflict, the force of movement and need for control is shown by the wildness of the manes, being brought into harmony by the "meshing" of the two horses . assertion and strength as they move forward with energy and purpose.

The checked flag, the sign that victory is attainable, the goal being to win at all costs, the struggle and hard work that will lead ultimately to triumph.
