The Hermit is numbered 9 and is usually a man carrying a lamp or staff. In this card I used a gourd for the lamp of knowledge which is his magical receptacle for all his knowledge. The bow for weight of his experience.

The hermit lacks human company, for the teaching and learning process is a lonely solitude. He has reached the part of his journey where no one can help him, he must rely on his inner resources, previous experiences and faith in the light that leads him.

With the Hermit you travel deep inside of your soul. Here we discover names of the god and goddess residing in us and it brings us to the keys to self-knowledge and mastery.

Usually The Hermit is a image of a older man with a wand and a lantern, I went with a modern concept, since in the modern world everything and everyone grows up and moves so fast.

I used Magic Cartoon Dolls Drag and Drop Site for the doll and clothes. I then pasted the doll to my card with accessories. from site( lantern, bow, eye patch)Then I used PSP8 to color and add affects to the card. I cropped the image to fit the card.
