CHILD OF THE PROMISE- BETHLEHEM 2000 TOUR

An ensemble of Christian artists will be touring in a musical written by Michael and Stormy Omartian.
A story written about Christmas.
The leads will be, Crystal Lewis as Mary, and Steven Curtis Chapman as Joseph. The cast will also include, Clay Crosse, Anointed, Avalon, Twila Paris, Russ Taff, 4HIM, Wayne Watson, Aaron Benward, Rachael Lampa, Russ Lee and the Queen of Disco, Donna Summer.

There will also be a CD released with this musical
with some of the artists mentioned above, plus Michael Crawford,Vince Gill, Richard Marx,
Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Bob Carlisle, Gary Chapman, Jody McBrayer, Wayne Watson, Howard Hewitt, Michael Passons, Steve Crawford, Danny Gans and David Pack.

Fans from Connecticut, Massachusetts and surrounding states were treated to a talent filled concert on August 13, 2000.
The
Dunkin Donuts Great American Music Fest was held at the Big E Fairgrounds in West Springfield, Mass.
Acts such as newcomer Chris Cagle, Darryl Worley, Clay Davidson, Rascal Flatts, Ricochet, Lee Ann Womack, Joe Diffie and headliner Tracy Byrd made their way to Massachusetts to perform in front of thousands of fans. Even the clouds and rain couldn't keep the fans away. All acts stayed around after they left the stage to meet with fans at the WWYZ  Country 92.5 van. The Hartford, CT based station put together the show.

Music & Drama Celebrate Freedom- More than 150,000 people filled the South Fork Ranch for the annual Celebrate Freedom event held July 1, 2000.Those who turned out experienced performances by some of today's best Christian artists, as well as a special appearance by actor Kirk Cameron and his wife Chelsea Noble.

The highly anticipated multi-artist recording, City On A Hill - Songs Of Worship And Praise is to be released August 22, 2000. Scheduled to be released simultaneously is it's companion book, City On A Hill - Reflections On Our Spiritual Journeys on CCM Books/Harvest House which features selected artists' and authors' perspectives on their faith.

Multi-platinum selling band Jars of Clay and legendary singer Aaron Neville combined forces to help feed the needy in New Orleans, which was co-sponsored by Feed The Children and the 2000 CBA International Convention. Feed The Children will also air a series of musical television specials featuring Jars of Clay as well as many other celebrated artists. The first of these specials is set to air this coming fall.
