9/99 ***Anita Grassi in Watertown on Mt. Auburn just past the fire station. I don't have her card on me and the listing in the white pages has her old address.

*** I'm pleased with Dr. Raphael Pupo. He works at the Kenmore Office of Harvard Vanguard, and at other offices, I think. (I believe that Harvard Vanguard/Harvard Pilgrim docs accept other insurances.) The main number at the Kenmore center is 4211000.

*** My sister highly recommends Dr. Krushell with Harvard in Davis Square, 6176296000. She loves him. I've made an appointment with him but haven't met him yet. He's very popular and books up months in advance.

*** If you have Harvard Pilgrim, I can recommend Jack Krushell (who is head of dermatology for HPHC and has treated my daughter's cystic acne, my other daughter's moles, my son's ecsema (sp?) and my roseaca) and Dr. Foster in the Cambridge Center. My daughter (the one with cystic acne) has had treatments at MGH Dermatology and my other daughter had a problematic mole removed at MGH Dermatology and I was also happy with their care there.

*** Dr. Markowitz is through Waltham/Deaconess Hospital (781) 8911540. He is wonderful.

*** I've been going to Dr. Hadley, at Mt. Auburn Hospital, for years, and I highly recommend him! (also, his office is fairly convenient to Abt). His phone is 3545658. His has a few associates who might have more convenient appointment times available. I've found his associates to be very good as well.

12/00 ***I use Dr. Liteplo, Mt. Auburn Hospital, 617-354-5658. I've only seen him once and my case is a very simple one so I don't have a lot of data upon which to base a recommendation.

***Dr. Richard Horan at Harvard Vanguard Medford center. He's very knowledgeable and friendly, but also very busy. They now take several types of insurance besides Harvard Pilgrim. 781-305-5300.

11/01 *** There are two excellent Harvard Vanguard dermatologists. One is Dr. Krushell at Somerville HVMA--right outside the Davis Square Red Line Stop, and the other is Dr. Foster at Cambridge HVMA, about a 10 minute walk from Harvard Square (or take the 69 bus from Harvard Square a few stops). They are both pretty busy--expect to wait a month or two unless it is an emergency.

*** There's a very good dermatologist walking distance from here, down Concord Ave--Dr. Kay Kane, part of Belmont Medical Associates.

*** Drs. Hadley, Pugliese & Liteplo, 300 Mt. Auburn Street, Suite 305, Cambridge, 354-5658

*** Drs. Lisa and Stuart Arbesfield, Waltham Street, Lexington, 781-862-2322

*** Dr. Kay Kane, 725 Concord Ave, Ste 4400, Cambridge, 864-8822

*** Dr. Haas and Dr. Grassi, 521 Mt. Auburn, Watertown, 923-8433
