Breaking News: Shuttle Columbia Lost

17 years and 4 days after the Challenger disaster, the space shuttle Columbia has disintegrated over north central Texas around 8:00 AM CST at an altitude of 200,000 feet while on descent to Cape Canaveral. It was traveling at a speed of Mach 18 (12,500 mph) and was scheduled to land in Florida at 8:16 AM CST.
