- The trip to Stone Door
was a blast. We not only get a year worth of exercises, enjoyed the
great views, and also witnessed the daring rescue of our HTA treasurer,
Fred Chu, from the bottom of the Stone Door (40 feet down).

JUST KIDDING!
Fred was the one who took this rescuing picture as it was occurring. The
man fell 40 feet and survives with two broken legs and bruises. For more

- On May
5, 2001, more than half of HTA's member families (30+) showed up for
the annual picnic in Brahan Spring Park. Everybody got a chance to taste
4 different flavors of BBQ.. The pictures of the picnic are available
here.

- On November
3, 2001, a lot of families attended the autumn field trip with HTA to
Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, AL. Now some of the photos are available.
