To all who are interested in learning more about Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical Ballet - I.C.B.) with contemporary insights.   This is our experience of dance in and through bharatanatyam or Indian Classical Dance.

Mission:
Ruth Alexander & Alexandria D'Souza, an innovative mother and daughter team, use Bharantanatyam (Indian Classical Dance) and their background in the traditional dances of Bharatanatyam (I.C.B.) as the language that provides them an alphabet for choreographing with Western influence.  They explore exciting concepts on a beautiful creative journey using lyrics for  western themes.

Our main purpose is to spread the western themes through dance/music/song using the language of Indian Classical dance for the dance items which can permeate through any culture (education and entertainment).

1.  Alexandria D'Souza dance/music Guild is dedicated to choreograph innovative Western dance items in English and (also to include the traditional pure dances of Indian Classical Dance or Bharatanatyam) share our experience especially with the elderly & children in the U.S. (American audience - providing wholesome and beautiful entertainment  programs for the family - dance/piano/song which inspires, uplifts the mind and designed to reflect and give joy to those who need it the most).  It also enriches the soul and promotes wellness through the healing power of  the performing arts.

2.  Most of our shows are 1. (a, c-h, j-k) as below which is for everyone.  But we also use dance as a spiritual expression for enrichment, growth for the whole person  (movement for praise and worship - using our gospel themes) for increased faith.  1. (b and i)  The gospel  programs are for the church/chapels/etc.
