| O meu nome é Hugo Xavier, sou português, tenho 26 anos e sou um leitor maníaco, um bibliófilo e um estudioso dos mecanismos pelos quais a literatura entra ou não no cânone literário. A minha especialidade são os escritores e obras que são marginais e estão fora dos habituais caminhos dos investigadores de literatura. O período que tenho vindo a estudar estende-se entre 1850 e 1950, embora para um estudo profundo e completo tenha feito investigações anteriores e posteriores desse período. Nestes últimos anos tenho vindo a estudar de que forma é que se estabelecem os cânones. De que forma se entrecruzam e interrelacionam. De que forma é que um autor é elevado aos cumes do cânone académico e outro, por vezes escrevendo com estilo semelhante e semelhantes temas, é relegado para o cânone da literatura marginal? De que forma coabitam no universo literário os três principais cânones: o académico, o da literatura popular (e por isto entendo não literatura tradicional mas obras que vendem e são lidas por muita gente - até certo ponto uma literatura de índole mais comercial) e o cânone da literatura marginal. Procurei pois por neste levantamento de links uma desorganização que permita o princípio básico do navegante da internet: ir descobrindo. Não há uma ordem interna explícita dentro das principais categorias nem sequer alfabética porque há uma consciência muito minha de que do que este mundo da literatura carece, até devido à constatada crise da leitura, é, cada vez mais, um eclectismo intelectual ligado sobretudo ao prazer pela obra que se lê mais do que por qualquer outro elemento técnico. Esta página, que vai estar sempre em constante renovação, procurará ser um sempre renovado repositório de LINKS para páginas de literatura no geral, escritores das mais variadas línguas, géneros literários, épocas e contextos, etc. Sendo que esta selecção depende única e exclusivamente das minhas próprias preferências, estou aberto a todas as sugestões e informações. |

| My name is Hugo Xavier, I'm portuguese, 26, and a maniac over books, every genre. I collect old books avoyd new books because in Portugal a book is a very expensive thing. In these last few years I have been studying the ways by which the literary canons establish themselves. By which ways do they mingle and relate themselves. In which way does an author enter the altitudes of the academic canon and by what other way does another author, sometimes writing in a similar style and about similar subjects, is relegated to the marginal literature canon? How do the three main canons (the academic, the popular - by which I mean, "pop literature" - and the marginal) co-work? I've centered my studies mainly in the period between 1850 and 1950. Therefore I've tried while gathering the links I present here an intended disorganisation that will allow the basic principle of the internet fan (a little in the Star Trek spirit): go along discovering. There is no internal explicit order beyond the main categories, not even an alphabetic order because I tried to keep a conscious intention of what this literary world needs, moreso because of the current crisis of reading, is, more and more, some sort of intellectual eclecticism bound to the sheer pleasure of reading a book, other than because of the same work's literary quality or any other technical element. I would appreciate any suggestions and / or comments although I will only post those I do agree are really worth it. |
