Absorbing Man is working for the New World Order. He is trying to stop the Hulk from joining Apocalypse as his horseman War, but as you can see he is a little too late. The power flows through War's sword and blows Creel to pieces. No word in yet on why Creel didn't just absorb the power instead of remaining concrete.
