Hulk vs. Silver Surfer VI- Silver Surfer vol. 3 #125

Surfer is following an unusual energy source, and that source winds up being the Hulk. Hulk found out that he is dying from his separation from Bruce Banner and is in no mood to be studied. Hulk is more powerful than he has ever been and fares quite well against Surfer, but he isn't even close to knocking Surfer out.

Surfer tries to help Hulk again by transforming him into Bruce Banner by draining his gamma radiation, but Surfer isn't too quick on the uptake and doesn't understand that there is no Banner for Hulk to turn into. Hulk advances on Surfer's power. He hits Surfer away.

Surfer finds Hulk and finally understands that his insane anger is just fearing death. He tells Hulk not to fear death. Hulk grunts and leaps away.
