Hulk vs. Namor II- Tales to Astonish #100

Namor is watching the Hulk and thinks about what a powerful ally he could be. Unfortunately Puppet Master had that same idea, and so when Namor finally reaches Hulk he is already in Puppet Master’s control. Hulk has some degree of difficuly because of the Puppet Master’s voice in his head. The fight is fairly even until Hulk catches Namor’s wrist as Namor tries to punch him. Hulk throws Namor as hard as he can…over the water. Namor returns will full strength and knocks Hulk into the water. Hulk manages to grab Namor and leap out of the water with him. They fight back and forth furiously until Puppet Master orders the Hulk to kill Namor. Hulk refuses and fights the control. Namor takes advantage of the Hulk’s hesitation. He puts Hulk in a whirlpool, and when Hulk actually manages to get himself out of it Namor greets him with a punch in the mouth. Puppet Master is caught in a big wave. When Namor finds Hulk again he has washed up on the shore as Bruce Banner. Namor leaves as Banner is beneath his notice.

WINNER:Well we’re calling this one a draw because Hulk was fighting mental control and Namor. Don’t worry Namor fans, Namor smacks Hulk around some more, SCORE: remains Namor 1, Hulk 0
