Torres High School Batch '78 News Page
"Our aim is to link us together as we prepare for our 25th Grand Anniversary Reunion in the year 2003."

We are growing and getting global.  Inia Assuncion moved to Bangkok.  We found our Olympic friend from Australia, Ramon Del Rosario.  We got hold of Joy Mortel-Fabilla in Hongkong.  We hope everyone can help us spread the news and find our batchmates especially the ones in our homeland.
Pick up the pieces !!!

We are counting on you !!!
The Happy Snaps

Here are the faces of our happy batchmates captured from "The Video" of  the batch fellowship meeting.  Plus some Fellowship Reunion Trivia & more.

"The Video"
Hits North America

The August THS Batch 78 reunion-meeting landed in Canada...in a jiffy (inside joke).  A little late as entry to the Toronto Film Festival... here is Val's afterthoughts on the video.

The Glowball

I hate forwards!!!  But since I am getting a lot of them, I began to love them.  We used the glowball in AfterMath 78 to compile the useful forwarded email.

We like to make it grow into a collective effort.  If you have some useful and helpful words of wisdom please don't hesitate to send it to us.  No chain letters please.  Click on the glowball to get some Words of Wisdom.

Ang Barkada Ko
Featuring the famous and not-so-famous peer-groups in THS

VABEWIJODA, that is my barkada during my high school days, and would you believe until now.  I feel so blessed to be a part of this wonderful group that is composed of four wonderful women and myself.  I don't think I was able to go through my high school days without their support.
This group is composed of VA-rinia, who, even at a very young age you can already see her closeness to Our Lord.  Siya yung very religious sa group namin.  BE-ng who is known to many as Marievic Nuguid- Evangelista.  Siya po iyong very serious, very intelligent and very often misunderstood by people outside of the group.  If they could only see how kind and understanding this lady is.  You can even ask Tess Parado what I mean by this. WI-lma Lansigan-deChavez is another fine lady and on top of that is our Math wizard.  Lagi po iyang naka-smile at mukhang hindi marunong magalit.  Our fourth member is JO-sefina Santos Olais.  Isang napakabait na kaibigan.  Tahimik po iyan pero kalog kapag nag-bitiw ng salita.  And last and I hope not the least is DA-nalynn Bartolome-Bautista.  Ako po ang inyong abang lingkod na sumulat ng write up na ito.  Siguro po mabait din ako kapag tulog.  The five of us hang out together at Beng's house at least three times a week, doing nothing but talk.
And you know what, I won't get tired of talking to these women 24 hours, 7 days a week.   I got nothing but good influence from these wonderful women.  They are all worth keeping for life.  Kaya I make it a point to always keep in touch with them as much as possible.  And you know what, I have a wish, that all our kids will find the same kind of friends, friends that will lead them to the right path of life.

 Buddy to Buddy
This section will demonstrate to us the buddy system in our batch.  It is people helping people.  Do you need to find a buddy?  Send your "Buddy to Buddy" request to your geographic contacts.
