Let’s Do It Again.... Post Cards Still Available!
- Last year’s post card campaign was largely responsible for keeping the HPNAP issue in the forefront for legislative leaders resulting in a 12 million dollar increase in HPNAP, the only source of state funding for Emergency Feeding Programs. This year’s postcard campaign is still underway to let the Governor as well as Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno and Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver know that New Yorkers need child care, health care, a living wage, housing, jobs, access to education and job training and an increase in HPNAP to $25 Million. For more information or to recieve postcards, please call the Albany office of the Hunger Action Network.
