It was september 1998 when I and my daughter Wendy along with my niece Thanh Truc and her boy friend ( Cu Lu`n) Michael  took a trip back  to Sai gon-Vietnam for the first time.My wife had to work (hu hu buo^`n 5 phu't).We had  friendly flight  with China Airline and received good service for 12 hours from San Francisco to Taipei .From Taipei we waited for 2 hours then we took the transfer plane for 3 hours to Saigon (Tan Son Nhat) Ho chi Minh City.I was happy to see all my sisters, brothers, nephew and nieces who waived for me out side the gate,I was so nervous that I did not know what to do when the VietNamese custom people came to ask me questions and fill out paper work... "what paper work?".., "Oh ..Sh...t " what am I going to do ?Since our trip was only for 2 weeks, we have to plan ahead carefully how to do everything we wanted.We were hoping to be able to see all my revlatives, my friends, go to the temple to perform the ceremony for the anniversary of my mother in law's death.and celebrate my nephew "VU~" wedding at "Da^`m  Sen ".The trip turn out to be so much fun and there was alot of good food,thank you to my sister inlaw "chi. Sa'u " and my brother "Sa'u Kha~i".In the end I have enought time to take my daughter Wendy who was born in the US,to see Dalat a beautiful high land country in VietNam and also to see a beach in Vung Tau.
